More About Alta

I guess I always knew what I wanted to do. When I was ten years old, I’d pick wildflowers from the fields behind my parents' home, walk up and down the street selling them to our neighbors, the small bunch for 10 cents, and a large bunch for 25 cents. I’ve come a long way since then! I LOVE what I do!!!

For more than 40 years, I’ve worked passionately in the floral industry, with the last 12 years solely dedicating my business to the wedding and events industry. Starting as a designer in 1980, then opening my own florist shop in the mid-’90s in Massachusetts, before moving to Florida in 2004, my experience was for the general design, including all aspects of the floral shop experiences.

More About Me

Once in Tampa, I designed for a few shops, missing owning my business, I started my new venture opening Alta Fleura, Wedding & Events Florist in 2008. Since then, we are honored to have designed Wedding florals for more than a thousand couples, Created hundreds of beautiful bouquets for Dance Recitals, Proms, Corporate and Private events.

Our goal is always to exceed our clients' expectations, providing the best service and highest quality flowers possible.

We are especially grateful and honored to have been voted WeddingWire.com’s Couples Choice Awards Winner for nine consecutive years by our couples.

Our way of doing business is to listen to our clients, offer the best floral and design options, and develop a relationship to create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!
